The Center for the Study of Transformative Lives, a Provostial institute at NYU, is seeking a Graduate Assistant. The position is 10 – 15 hours per week, paid hourly. The Graduate Assistant is the Center’s chief administrator; responsibilities include planning and coordinating events and lectures, facilitating payments and reimbursements, and being the point of contact for all internal university business. Previous office experience is required and previous experience with NYU’s administrative systems (Accounts Payable, etc.) is preferred. The candidate should be comfortable corresponding with and greeting high-level donors. Experience coordinating all aspects of events, such as catering, tech, etc., is preferred. The candidate should be very articulate and detail-oriented.
