Here’s an upcoming conference from the Taub Center for Israel Studies at NYU that might interest some Draperites:
“American Jews and Israel: A Relationship in Transition”
This event will take place on the NYU campus on Sunday, April 19, 2015. The conference commences at 10:00am. Lunch and dinner will be served and the program will conclude at 8:30pm.
The conference will include three sessions focusing on the various roles Israel plays in American Jewish life, and the changing relationship between American Jewry and Israel. Speakers will include distinguished academics, practitioners and key figures within the American Jewish community. We will conclude with a panel discussion featuring Itamar Rabinovich, previously the Israeli ambassador to the United States, and Dan Kurtzer, previously the American ambassador to Israel.
