Cold War Seminar- Kostis Kornetis on Student Resistance, Cultural Politics and the Long 1960s in Greece- April 2 (5:00 PM)

Kostis Kornetis, Assistant Professor of European and Mediterranean Studies at NYU will lead Tamiment’s next seminar on April 2. His presentation will draw from his book Children of the Dictatorship. Student Resistance, Cultural Politics and the “Long 1960s” in Greece (Berghahn, 2013).

Attached a PDF that includes a few sections from the book. Eric Zolov, an Associate Professor of History at SUNY Stony Brook will be the commentator.

The seminar will take place from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Tamiment Library conference room, on the tenth floor of the Bobst Library, 70 Washington Square South. As always, a reception with wine and snacks will follow the Q & A session.
