Native New Yorker Estela Bravo is a documentary filmmaker who for the past forty years has divided her time between Latin America and the United States. Her 30 award-winning films have recorded events throughout Latin America, Africa, the Caribbean, and the U.S., earning her a worldwide reputation.

Timothy Naftali, head of the Tamiment Library, will moderate a discussion with Bravo featuring clips from interviews conducted for her 2001 film Fidel: The Untold Story. A Q&A will follow the conversation.
