Masha Kirasirova, a 2015-2016 Center for the United States and the Cold War Postdoctoral Fellow, will discuss her paper, Soviet Aftershocks of Iran’s 1953 Coup: A CIA Operation against Abdulqasim Lahuti, 1953-1954 on Thursday October 22. Timothy Naftali, Co-Director of the Center of the United States and the Cold War and a Clinical Associate Professor of History and Public Service at NYU, will comment.
The seminar will take place from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Tamiment Library conference room, on the tenth floor of the Bobst Library, 70 Washington Square South. As always, a reception with wine and cheese will follow the Q & A session.
