Sara R. Haviland – Lecture on her New Book on James and Esther Cooper Jackson- November 5

Sara Rzeszuket Haviland will discuss her new book James and Esther Cooper Jackson: Love and Courage in the Black Freedom Movement (University Press of Kentucky) at the Tamiment Library on Thursday November 5 (6:007:30 PM) She is an assistant professor of history at St. Francis College. She has contributed chapters to Freedom Rights: New Perspectives on the Civil Rights Movement and Red Activists and Black Freedom: James and Esther Jackson and the Long Civil Rights Revolution.
