This hour long information session will cover the basics of fellowships for graduate study in the United Kingdom, focusing in particular on the Rhodes, Marshall, Mitchell and Gates Scholarships. We’ll go over the difference between each scholarship foundation, what makes a plausible application, how to secure recommendation letters and think through the essay components of each applications, and the internal and external application deadlines. (The internal deadline for expressions of interest is May 1st. For more details, see here.) Students from ALL years are welcome (as well as alumni), though you will need to be at least a senior in Fall 2016 to be eligible for these scholarships this year. You will need to research each scholarship in detail for further information about eligibility. RSVP here.
