NYU Speaking Freely is seeking spanish coaches for the Fall semester. The instructors are NYU graduate students, and the program offers a unique opportunity for them to develop their teaching skills while working with highly motivated students in an informal setting. The program also provides coaches the opportunity to supplement their income. The pay scale works out to be about $890 per semester. The coaches for Speaking Freely must be registered in a NYU graduate program in the semester that they teach.

NYU Speaking Freely Online (SFO) is an easy and free way for students to gain an introduction to a language, or to improve their existing language skills. Our coaches are NYU graduate students, and the program offers a unique opportunity for them to develop their teaching skills while working with a small group of highly motivated students in an informal setting. Beginning in mid-September, each coaches teaches three one-hour classes via Google Hangouts each week for nine weeks. Each virtual class will cater to a specific language proficiency level – beginner, intermediate, and advanced – and focus on improving conversational skills, expanding vocabulary and gaining cultural knowledge. The coaches receive monetary compensation for their service.
