As head of Zer0 Books, Tariq Goddard played an instrumental role in bringing the work of an emergent generation of rogue academics, militant polemicists and speculative realists – among them Mark Fisher (Capitalist Realism), Laurie Penny (Meat Market), Nina Power (One Dimensional Woman), Adam Harper (Infinite Music), Owen Hatherley (Militant Modernism), Eugene Thacker (In The Dust Of This Planet), Agata Pyzik (Poor But Sexy), Graham Harman (Weird Realism) – to new, presumed-non-existent audiences.
More recently, he started Repeater Books: “Its purpose is to expand upon and complete the project begun with Zer0; that of bringing marginal, esoteric, idiosyncratic and necessary literature and thought ito a mainstream that would otherwise ignore it.”
