Draper Alumni Involved in Morbid Anatomy Museum and Day of the Dead in Mexico

Salvador Olguin, Draper class of 2009, is involved in two cool projects that might interest Draperites:
First, he is working as a scholar in residence and event organizer with the recently inaugurated Morbid Anatomy Museum in Brooklyn. The museum is currently featuring its first exhibit, The Art of Mourning, and was written up in the Times:  http://www.nytimes.com/2014/06/27/nyregion/the-morbid-anatomy-museum-opens-in-brooklyn.html?_r=0
In conjunction with the museum, Salvador is also planning a cultural tour to Mexico City and Oaxaca to celebrate Day of the Dead in Mexico this year. Salvador himself is the expert guide for the tour, contextualizing art, archaeological sites, and Dia de Muertos celebrations:  http://observatoryroom.org/2014/05/14/muerte-en-mexico-a-special-field-trip-to-mexico-for-day-of-the-dead-to-visit-sites-important-to-the-history-of-death-in-mexico-october-31-november-4/
Nice work, Salvador!
